Idaho Falls Celebrates...

Mayor's Business Day in Idaho Falls

Monday, March 8th, 2010
Idaho Falls High School - 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Idaho Falls Mayor Jared Fuhriman announced this initiative in his 2010 State of the City address. In partnership with the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and the Idaho Department of Labor. The day long event is designed to assist local business owners with the necessary tools to get them through these difficult economic times. The morning will be devoted to panel discussions on financing and workforce solutions. The afternoon will have the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce hosting their annual Area Business Connections, which allows local vendors and businesses an opportunity to display their products and services. Then later that afternoon and during the early evening hours, the Idaho Department of Labor will host a "Job Fair," to assist those who are seeing employment.
