Idaho Falls Celebrates...

2012 Mayor’s Scholarship Fund Deadline Set

Applications are now being accepted for the 2012 Mayor’s Scholarship Fund. Twelve Promise Award Scholarships will be awarded to students between grades 8 and 11, and 12 Senior Scholarships will be given to graduating seniors. 

Applications are due by Feb. 3, 2012 and may be submitted to a guidance counselor before the close of school on Feb. 3, or to the administrative offices of District 91 or District 93 no later than 4 p.m. the same day.

Latest addition to the library: e-books and e-audio books

The Idaho Falls Public Library is now capable of loaning out e-books and e-audio books. Thousands of titles are available for download – from classic literature to a variety of non-fiction works - and the list continues to grow. Click here to access this service. Online check-out is fairly simple, but if you have trouble downloading the book you want, assistance is available through an online tutorial, or by calling (208-612-8460) or emailing the library.
