Bicycle/Pedestrian Planning
BMPO encourages non-motorized transportation and the development of facilities such as bikeways and pedestrian walks, as well as education and encouragement programs which will increase social awareness of non-motorized travel. Efforts are made to improve overall conditions for bicyclists and pedestrians and provide opportunities to use non-motorized forms of travel in a safe and accessible manner.
