Employee Assistance Program, (EAP)

All Regular, (non-temporary, non-seasonal), employees of the City of Idaho Falls and their immediate family members have access to the Employee Assistance Program, (EAP).  The City has partnered with McLaughlin Young Employee Services, an independent provider of EAP services.  The EAP offers help for personal and/or professional concerns by providing free, confidential, short-term counseling and personal consultation.  The EAP has a network of local counselors; they can help employees imrpove or resolve personal difficulties whether big or small, personal or work related.  For an orientation on the services available through the Employe Assistance Program, visit the EAP web page here.

To seek assistance assistance through the EAP, employees and supervisors may call 800-633-3353.  Counselors are available 24 hours a day over the phone and local appointments may be an option both during daytime and evening hours.  Additional resources are also available at the McLaughlin Young Employee Services web page here.  Employees do need username and password information to log into the secured EAP web page, (call HR at 612-8248 for password information).
