Fire/Police Employment
Fire Department - The City typically conducts Civil Service exams for Firefighters in mid to late April. During the early spring, an electronic application will be available within the Employment Center. Those interested in receiving an email notification regarding future testing opportunities and application timetables are encouraged to register for a Job Alert for Fire and EMS positions.
Police Department -The City typically conducts Civil Service exams for Police Officers in mid to late May. During the spring, an electronic application will be made available within the Employment Center. Those interested in receiving an email notification regarding future testing opportunities and application timetables are encouraged to register for a Job Alert for Law Enforcement positions.
