Energy Star Manufactured HomesAn $850 incentive is available for customers purchasing these energy efficient electrically heated homes and siting them in IFP’s service territory. The homes are certified by the Idaho Office of Energy Resources. Application forms are available from participating dealers.
Duct Sealing for Manufactured HomesIdaho Falls Power in conjunction with the Bonneville Power Administration is offering a turnkey program to test and seal ducts in manufactured homes, using certified Performance Tested Comfort System (PCTS) technicians. REQUIREMENTSManufactured home must receive its electric service from Idaho Falls Power. PROGRAM MEASURESA certified contractor will pressure test the system using diagnostic equipment to determine the amount of leakage in the ducts. If leakage is above prescribed standards the technician will repair and seal the ducts to bring it to program compliance. PROCEDURES

Simple steps, smart savings IFP participates with other utilities in the region to “buy-down” the cost of CFL bulbs from the manufacturer, so the customer realizes lower costs in the retail stores. The bulbs are available at most regional chain stores, and may be promoted by individual stores under branding such as “Savings With A Twist” or “Change-A-Light, Change the World.” Weatherization Idaho Falls Power will conduct a free home energy audit for any IFP customer. Heating & Cooling Rebates or zero interest loans to qualifying customers to install efficient heat pumps in new or existing buildings. Appliances Rebates or zero interest loans to qualifying customers to purchase and install efficient electric appliances. Financing/Zero Interest Loans Available to customers with a good payment history with City utilities and services New Home Programs Homeowners can enjoy a 20% reduction in energy use compared to traditional building techniques. |
