The City of Idaho Falls has a central purchasing system that is staffed by a Purchasing Agent and a Purchasing Assistant. All purchases over $500.00 for equipment, goods, and services, are processed through the Purchasing department. Purchasing is also responsible for writing, preparing, issuing and overseeing quotes and bids, with the exception of most construction projects. The Purchasing department is located at 375 "D" Street.
