PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION SEEKING VOLUNTEERS

The City of Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation Division is seeking individuals to serve on the Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation Commission. The purpose of the Commission is to work with the Parks and Recreation Director toward development of a comprehensive, balanced plan of City-wide recreation consistent with available funds. The Committee studies the physical condition, maintenance, operation and use of public playgrounds, parks and recreational facilities and makes recommendations concerning their improvement and efficient use. Interested persons should mail completed applications to the Parks and Recreation Division, P.O. Box 50220, Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83405.

SHADE TREE COMMITTEE SEEKING VOLUNTEERS

The City of Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation Division is seeking individuals to serve on the Idaho Falls Shade Tree Committee.  The purpose of the Committee is to provide advice to the Division of Parks and Recreation, Mayor, City Forester and City Council as to the preservation, protection and management of the community forest of Idaho Falls.  Interested persons should mail completed applications to the Parks and Recreation Division, P.O.
