What is a City Rate Card? Citizens of Idaho Falls, through payment of their property taxes, contribute directly to the operation of the Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation Division facilities, programs, and services. A City Rate Card allows city residents to receive reduced rates on parks and recreation programs and services. The City Rate Card is completely optional and is not required to register for any Parks and Recreation program or service. It simply allows for Idaho Falls city residents ro receive a reduced rate if they so desire, upon presentation of their City Rate Card. Residents without a City Rate Card, as well as out-of-city residents will be assessed the full fee for all programs and services.
How Do I Get a City Rate Card? City Rate Cards can be obtained at the Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation offices located in the Recreation Center, the Aquatic Center, and the golf courses (during the summer months). PLEASE BRING A COPY OF YOUR UTILITY BILL AND A PICTURE OF ALL THE FAMILY MEMBERS THAT WILL BE USING THE CARD. (or we can take your photo) There is no cost for the first card, additional or replacement cards are $2.00 plus tax. Family members can be put on the same card. The cards are renewable every two years. All family members must have a photo on the card in order to be eligible for use.
Registration and Admission Policy The City Rate Card must be presented at the time of registration or admission to receive the city rate. The lower rate is only good for those residents whose name and picture appear on the presented card. No one can register for or pay admission for another person without having that person's City Rate Cards with them at the time of registration or admission.
