Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter EdZOOcation Classes
Kids ages 2-12! Have a great time at the zoo while you take a class on things such as bunnies, primates, endangered animals, water ecology or big cats, just to name a few! EdZOOcation classes are offered year round: spring break, all throughout the summer, fall teacher in-service days and during winter break. Educators: you can even schedule a special class just for your class on any biological topics you choose. Call today to find out more.

Weeklong Zoo Camps
Zoo camps are offered twice for each age group every summer. Ages 7-9 come from either 9am-noon or 1pm-4pm for 5 days and ages 10-12 come from 9am-4pm for 5 days. Campers get behind the scenes opportunities with zoo staff and volunteers. Each day is full of topic and age-appropriate lessons, arts, crafts, animal interaction and activities in the zoo. Cost includes a T-shirt, certificate of graduation and lessons taught by trained instructors.

Behind the Scenes Tours
What's behind that big gate? Well, go behind the scenes to find out what we feed the animals and how we take care of some of the world's endangered species. As part of the tour, we'll have a box dinner under the tent. Hurry! Space is limited and you must sign up ahead of time.

Overnight Safari
Spend the night in the wildest place in town and experience the Zoo in a whole new "light"! This safari is just for ages 8-12. Bring a sleeping bag, pad and sleep under the stars, in your own tent or under the zoo canopy. We'll feed you dinner, a light breakfast, give you a behind the scenes tour and lots more fun!
Group Overnight Safaris
You haven't fully experienced the Zoo until you've slept here! Bring your group, a tent and sleeping bag and spend a wild night at the Zoo. The Safari includes a tour, dinner, light breakfast and a ton of fun! One adult is required for every 5 kids. We can also schedule a special date just for your group. This is a great activity for families, scout troops, church groups and schools.
