Ryder Park fishing information

Ryder Park is located at 2001 W Sunnyside Rd (Just west of the Sunnyside bridge over the river)

 

 Fishing open all year.  Trout limit is 6 fish, all species combined.  Any person over 14 years must have a valid fishing license. 

Open from 6:00am to 11:00pm.

No overnight camping

Removal of any City property is prohibited

Parking in designated areas only

No motorized boats, small crafts, radio controlled craft or flotation devics.

No swimming

Dogs must be kept on a leash

Cutting, picking, or destruction of plant life is prohibited

Fish cleaning in designated areas only

No wading - bank fishing only

Shelter Reservation Information


Shelters may be reserved for family reunions, company picnics, and various other events for a small fee (most shelters are $50.00 plus tax). Payment is required at time of reservation.

Call (208) 612-8480 to reserve a shelter or visit us at the Recreation Center at 520 Memorial.

We rent shelters for the months of May - September.

We start taking reservations in January.

Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis.

Park or shelter rental application here  This application is only required for events held at the Freeman Park Bandshell, Tautphaus Park Multi-Purpose Shelter, greenbelt events, large events in non-specific park locations, or any event on The Pier.
