Start Smart Baseball is a developmentally appropriate introductory program for boys & girls, 3-6 yrs old, that prepares them for organized ball in a fun, non-threatening environment. They will use Koosh equipment, tested and proven to be most effective in teaching children sports skills. Parents work one on one with their child practicing a variety of baseball skills while rotating through 4 skills stations: throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility. Parents and children attend 45 minute classes, one time per week. Each week exercises become more difficult as the class progresses and the children show improvement. Parents benefit too, by spending quality time with their child, while learning effective techniques for teaching their child proper baseball mechanics and methods that yield desired results. Bats, balls, gloves, and tees will be provided for use at the clinics.
For kids 3 – 6rs
Session #1 Wed, April 14th 6:00 – 6:45pm
Session #2 Wed, May 26th 6:00 – 6:45pm
Class is held once a week for six weeks.
$35.00 per child and held at Tautphaus Park
One parent is required to participate with kid or kids
