Our shelter serves the cities of Idaho Falls, Ammon and Iona along with the unincorporated areas of Bonneville County.  We hope that you will enjoy this website and find it useful.  Our goal is to provide you with answers to any animal-related questions you may have and to provide possible solutions to your animal-related problems.  We are also here to help you find a new "furry" addition to your family. 

Our Mission

First, to enforce the City of Idaho Falls' Animal Control ordinances in order to protect the welfare of the residents and pets of our community and secondly, to humanely care for the pets that are entrusted to our care due to various circumstances and, if at all possible, endeavor to return them to their rightful owners or find loving, adoptive homes for those in need of such through our adoption facility.
