Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

The City of Idaho Falls Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Department coordinates GIS activities throughout the City of Idaho Falls government and assists city operating divisions to implement GIS technology.  It provides training to city employees, assists in adopting GIS policies, provides custom programming, and other specialized services.

The GIS Department also assists city operating divisions by providing information to the public over the web via the online maps.
