2009 Leaf Pickup Schedule

October 24, 25, & 26 - 2^nd Street to 17^th Street between Boulevard & Holmes

October 27 & 28 - 17^th Street to Sunnyside Road between Boulevard & Holmes

October 31, November 1 & 2 - Boulevard west to the river between 17^th Street and G Street

November 3 & 4 - 17^th Street south to Sunnyside and Boulevard west to the river

November 7 & 8 - G Street north to Elva and railroad tracks west to river

November 9 & 10 - Elva north to Anderson and Elmore east to the railroad tracks

November 14 & 15 - 1^st Street north to Lincoln and Northgate Mile east to Hitt

November 16, 17 & 18 - 1^st Street south to 25^th Street and Holmes east to St. Clair

November 21, 22 & 23 - 1^st Street South to 25^th Street and St. Clair east to Hitt

This schedule will be repeated as the leaves accumulate and if conditions warrant.

Anyone living outside these boundaries may contact the Street Department Office at 612-8490 for information and collection schedule.

Schedule may vary slightly due to workload.

LEAVES SHOULD BE PILED ON THE STREET NEXT TO THE CURB.

CARS, IF POSSIBLE, SHOULD BE PARKED OFF THE STREET.

DO NOT PILE LIMBS AND BRANCHES WITH YOUR LEAVES AS THEY MUST BE PICKED UP SEPARATELY.

By City ordinance, property owners must keep their trees trimmed 15 feet above the street surface.

This allows the sweepers room to travel under the trees with out damage to the equipment or to the tree.
