The City of Idaho Falls Water Division is responsible for supplying potable water to residential and commercial properties throughout the city. Fifteen employees currently maintain and operate the system supplying the city’s residents with the best water available. The division maintains 19 wells, over 300 miles of water main, over 1,800 fire hydrants, and services to nearly 24,000 accounts. The delivered tap water helps provide public health protection, fire protection, support for the economy and the overall quality-of-life we enjoy.
