Bicycle lanes/ cycling safety
Description
I would like to know if there is any plan for implementing any bike lanes beyond the one on 25th. Is there any committee for adding bike lanes to new roads, or adding them to existing ones? Do we have any programs for teaching cycling safety in the school system, and/or adult education? I would like to know where to address these concerns.
Notes
The City plan for bicyles is contained within the Comprehensive Plan which can be viewed at http://www.idahofallsidaho.gov/city/city-departments/planning-department.html. There is not any specific committee in the City for bicycle facilities. Education programs have been developed through the BMPO and further information is available at http://www.idahofallsidaho.gov/city/city-departments/bmpo.html
