A needed 3 way stop.
Description
Intersection of Park and Constitution. I beleive there should be a 3 way stop at this intersection.Besides normal traffic considering that to drop off city bills at the drop located at the N.E. corner of this intersection forces drivers to use this intersection ,and 45 degree parking on constitution greatly limits visibility in each direction , a driver has to pull out considerably into the west bound lane of Constitution to see in either direction of Constitution before proceding Also haveing a 3 way stop here would barely impact traffic flow. Just try pulling out from Park onto or across Constitution and the problem will be quite obvious. Thanks, Jeff Kynoch
Notes
The City is in the process of re-evaluating the parking layout along Constitution Way. Sight distance for vehicles pulling out from the stop sign on Park will we considered as part of that evaluation. Additional stop signs will be considered if adequate sight distance cannot be provided.
