Question:	I am a Police Officer from another agency. Does the Idaho Falls Police department accept lateral transfers?
Answer:	At this time, Civil Service rules do not have a lateral transfer policy. Experience from other departments may however be applied to certain inter department transfers and a higher pay grade at the Chief’s discretion.
