Our community youth groups and schools are welcome to tour the Idaho Falls Police Department.
One of the requirements for a specific merit badge from the Boy Scouts of America is to "ask five people about the role of law enforcement officers in our society." One of the recommendations to earn this badge is to "go to a law enforcement officer in your neighborhood and ask about his or her responsibilities and duties."
