Public Meetings Handbook

The Public Meetings Handbook is meant to assist citizens, and elected and appointed officials in participating in the meeting process, and to make suggestions regarding effective meetings. The Handbook includes practical tips on how to prepare for, and participate in, a public meeting. It also provides an introduction into the basics of parliamentary procedure.

Even though this Handbook is meant to provide insight into the operation of the Idaho Open Meetings Law (Idaho Code 67-2340 through 67-2347), as well as other topics, it should not be considered as a substitute for legal advice from an attorney.
