Since IDA is conveniently located within the Idaho Falls community and has a streamlined passenger terminal, recommended arrival time is 1.5 hours prior to scheduled departure time, depending upon each airlines rules and regulations. Remember to arrive at the airport early enough to check-in, go through the TSA checkpoint and get to your gate at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time. Note, TSA screening checkpoint lines are unpredictable depending on the number of passengers traveling on any given day or time.
Boarding passes may be obtained by checking in at the airline ticket counter, by printing them off at home or utilizing airline smartphone apps. Using a mobile smartphone, passengers may download the appropriate airline app to check-in for their flight and go straight to the TSA security checkpoint.
