The essential work of the Idaho Falls and Bonneville 911 Dispatch Center often times goes unnoticed by the public as the work behind the scenes. However, center operations is an essential piece to the work and service provided by the Idaho Falls Police Department and other county and city emergency services.
The Dispatch Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without fail. Public safety telecommunicators - dispatchers - perform the mission critical tasks behind the scenes supporting police, fire, search and rescue and other emergency medical personnel on the street.
The Idaho Falls and Bonneville County 911 Dispatch Center is currently staffed with 22 employees that are highly trained and committed to providing high quality service to the community.
