Higher Education

Idaho Falls is home to Eastern Idaho Technical College, which provides high quality, low cost educational programs for the real world. The 2-year state college offers hands-on technical programs, training, workforce, community and online education.

During the summer of 2016, a Community College Study Panel, made up of various community members, was formed to evaluate the possibility of converting Eastern Idaho Technical College to a Community College. In July 2016, the study was completed and is available for review (PDF).

Idaho State University and University of Idaho students have the ability to attend University Place. This allows students to earn various degrees without ever leaving the city.

Idaho Falls has 2 public school districts, District 91 and 93. Idaho Falls has 4 major high schools, Idaho Falls, Skyline, Hillcrest and Bonneville.
