[ARCHIVED] Water Service Repair Tomorrow on S 25th East (Hitt Rd)

Public Works Logo

The Water Division will be repairing a leaking waterline in the 2500 block of S 25th East (Hitt Road) near its intersection with E 25th Street beginning at 4:00 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. The work will impact the morning commute. Motorists should expect traffic delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Southbound traffic will be reduced to a single lane through the construction zone. Barring unforeseen circumstances, construction is anticipated to be complete by noon on Friday.

Some water service interruptions are anticipated. Impacted customers have already been notified.  However, if additional outages are required, additional impacted customers will be notified prior to any disruption in service.

Please reduce speeds, obey posted traffic control signage, and watch for construction crews throughout the work zone.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we repair the leak as quickly as possible.

For questions or concerns, contact the Water Division at (208) 612-8471.
