[ARCHIVED] Construction: Installation of Flashing Stop Signs - March 21

HK Contractors will install flashing stop signs at two separate locations in Idaho Falls beginning on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

The first flashing stop sign will be installed at Lomax Street between S. Fanning Avenue and S. Freeman Avenue.  Once the work is complete on Lomax Street, the contractor will relocate to “F” Street between Shoup Avenue and Capital Avenue for the second installation.

The project also includes the removal of curb and gutter and installation of new ADA pedestrian ramps at both locations.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane at various times for the duration of the project.

The total duration for completion of both areas is approximately two weeks.

During all construction activities, watch for equipment and workers, follow all traffic signs and flaggers, and reduce speeds to posted limits.

For questions, call Public Works at (208) 612-8250.
