[ARCHIVED] Idaho Falls Power Conducts Customer Satisfaction Survey

We want to hear from you!

(Idaho Falls, ID) –Idaho Falls Power wants to hear from you.

Idaho Falls Power has contracted with the customer research firm of DNV-GL to reach out to customers in order to gain valuable feedback from the community on how the utility is performing in the eyes of the customers.

The research firm is currently conducting the surveys and is contacting Idaho Falls residents by landline or cell phone to learn about their opinions on the levels of satisfaction on the electric service they receive. Customers who are also on the Idaho Falls Fiber Optic network will also be asked questions related to this new service. The feedback will be provided to IFP in order to help them better understand how to better meet customer needs and expectations.

“We do these surveys on a regular basis, usually every two years, in order to help us improve our service levels by hearing directly from our customers in a standardized survey that covers the total service area,” said Idaho Falls Power and Idaho Falls Fiber General Manager Bear Prairie. “By looking at the data objectively, we can be more responsive to the ever-changing needs of our customers. It is a good opportunity for us to examine how we operate and make sure we are doing all we can to provide reliable electricity and fiber optic service.

Residents will be selected at random by the survey firm throughout Idaho Falls. The survey is designed to take only a few minutes to compete by phone. This year’s survey will include questions about fiber service as well as the traditional questions about power delivery. Prairie encourages residents to participate if possible.

“We hope that people will be receptive to participating and give us honest feedback,” he said. “This way we can take an unbiased look at how we have been doing the past few years, and how we can provide even better service going forward.”

The last customer service survey done by IFP was completed in 2018. Residents who have questions can call IFP at 208-612-8430 for additional information.
