City Council Seeks Input on Draft Ordinance
(Idaho Falls, ID) -- The Idaho Falls City Council is seeking input on a draft ordinance that will be considered at the regularly scheduled May 14 City Council meeting.
In 2013 the city adopted an ordinance prohibiting discrimination in employment and housing. The current ordinance under consideration would extend discrimination protections to also prohibit discrimination in public accommodations and public places.
Residents who would like to provide input to members of the city council can visit the City Council page on www.idahofallsidaho.gov to email city council representatives. They can also find a link to the draft of the ordinance on the front page of the city’s website, or can click here to view the draft.
