Idaho Falls Police arrested 39-year-old Ernest L. Tuttle for felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver following a traffic stop early Monday morning.
Tuttle of Idaho Falls was also booked into the Bonneville County Jail for possession of drug paraphernalia and Marijuana.
According to reports, officers stopped a white Ford Focus, driven by Tuttle, at College and Holmes for a traffic violation around 12:40 a.m. During the stop, officers observed the smell of Marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Officers discovered Tuttle to be in possession of Marijuana, scales and a small case containing a large amount of small baggies, often used in drug distribution. Tuttle was also found in possession of nine grams of Methamphetamine.
Tuttle’s passenger, 33-year-old Brittany A. Mains of St. Anthony, was also arrested for felony drug possession after she was found in possession of Methamphetamine. She was also arrested for bringing contraband into the jail after Marijuana was found on her.
Two other passengers, 39-year-old Brandy L. Lewis and 26-year-old William N. Linger, were also arrested for drug crimes. Lewis of Idaho Falls was arrested for misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and Marijuana. Linger or Rigby was arrested for possession of paraphernalia.
