[ARCHIVED] Willowbrook and Iona Street Water Line Project

The City of Idaho Falls Street Division will be cutting and removing asphalt on Dunbar Drive, Vine Avenue and E. Shelly Street beginning Wednesday, April 19 in preparation for the Willowbrook and Iona Street water line project.

TMC Contractors will then reconstruct water lines beginning on April 24, followed by resurfacing.

Once that section is complete, crews will move to Rose Avenue and Sunset Drive to remove asphalt, reconstruct water lines and resurface the roadway from N. Boulevard to N. Lee Street.

On-street parking is prohibited in these areas for the duration of the project.  However, all residents will have access to their homes.

Barring unforeseen conditions, the project duration is approximately 40 days.

Please watch for equipment and workers, follow all traffic signs and flaggers, and reduce speeds to posted limits.

For questions, call Public Works at (208) 612-8250.

Additional information on City of Idaho Falls construction projects can be found on the homepage of the city’s website

Media Note: For more information or to schedule an interview with city staff, contact Public Information Officer, Kerry Hammon.
