Idaho Falls Zoo’s 2021 season is off to a wild start! And we’re roaring right into May with some great events for everyone. Your zoo is open daily, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including holidays (and yes, that means we are open Memorial Day).

May 7: Sippin’ Safari- Join us for a new zoo fundraiser, Sippin’ Safari, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening strolling the zoo listening to live music with your family. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase adult and non-alcoholic drinks, so bring your ID! All ages are welcome. Tickets must be purchased online before the event at https://tinyurl.com/4ud87ua7. As a fundraiser, zoo memberships aren’t valid for entry.

May 8-9: Mother’s Weekend- In honor of all the amazing women in our lives and in our zoo family, we invite all the ladies to enjoy admission to the zoo for only .50 cents with a paid child admission on Saturday, May 8 and Sunday, May 9. Bring mom to see Zasu, our mama camel and adorable new calf, Liam.

May 15: Armed Forces Day- In appreciation of the service provided by members of the armed forces, we are proud to offer free admission to the zoo for former or active military personnel (with valid military ID), and group admission for the immediate family members in their group.

May 15: Fluor Idaho’s STEAM Day at the Zoo- Bring the family to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) with hands on interactive activities throughout the zoo! Activities run from 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM and are included with your paid zoo admission or TPZS membership.

From Memorial Weekend-Labor Day Weekend: Meet a Penguin or Take a Look Behind the Scenes- Penguin Interaction Programs and Behind the Scenes Tours offer you an incredible, personalized experience at the zoo. Learn more and book your program at https://www.idahofallsidaho.gov/801/Family-Programs
