The education staff at the Idaho Falls Zoo is thrilled to announce summer camps are back in 2021! The zoo will host in-person kids’ camps between June and August for children ages 5-12. As always, the zoo camps offer one-of-a-kind summer experiences full of fun, interactive activities, and up-close learning with animals on zoo grounds.
Here’s a look at this year’s themes:
Animal Myth Busters (ages 5-7): MYTH OR FACT? Spend a week debunking common animal myths and exploring amazing animals at your zoo.
June 7-9 OR August 2-6
9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Zoo Mania (ages 7-9): Learn about animal movement and behavior through careful observation and testing of your own human abilities.
July 19-23 OR August 16-20
9:00 AM-4:00 PM
Zoo Careers: (10-12): Explore all the different kinds of careers available when you work at a zoo.
July 5-9
9:00 AM-4:00 PM
