[ARCHIVED] May events are in bloom at the Idaho Falls Zoo

Baby-Ash-News-Release

Idaho Falls Zoo’s 2022 season is off to a wild start! And we’re roaring right into May with some great events for everyone. Your zoo is open daily, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including holidays (and yes, that means we are open Memorial Day).

May 6: Sippin’ Safari- Join us for our fan-favorite fundraiser, the Sippin’ Safari concert series, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening strolling the zoo listening to live music by the Dewdroppers with your family. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase adult and non-alcoholic drinks, so bring your ID! All ages are welcome. Purchase tickets before the event at https://www.eventbrite.com/cc/tpzs-2022-events-50999. As a fundraiser, zoo memberships aren’t valid for entry.

May 7 and 8: Mother’s Weekend at the Zoo- In honor of all the amazing women in our lives and in our zoo family, we invite all the ladies to enjoy admission to the zoo for only $0.50 with a paid child admission on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8. Be sure to see Tunda, our new cotton-top tamarin mom and her tiny little new addition, Ash.

May 21: Armed Forces Day- In appreciation of the service provided by members of the armed forces, we are proud to offer $0.50 to the zoo for former or active military personnel (with valid military ID), and group admission for the immediate family members in their group.

May 25 and 26: STEAM Day at the Zoo-Over 1,500 area elementary students have been invited to the zoo to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). Unfortunately, this event is already full; no other reservations can be accepted. Thanks to United Way of Idaho Falls for being a proud supporter of this amazing event!

Admission to the Idaho Falls Zoo at Tautphaus Park is a steal of a deal! Only $8 for adults (ages 13-61), $6.50 for seniors (62+), $5.00 for children (ages 3-12), and $0.50 for ages 2 and under.  All admissions include the zoo’s conservation fee.
