HK Contractors will be seal coating Grandview Drive at the Grandview/Bellin curve and between Skyline Drive and Saturn Avenue next week.
The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 12, but requires higher temperatures and may need to be delayed until the weather permits. Once started, the anticipated completion time is two days.
During the seal coating operation, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a reduced speed limit on Grandview. Flagging will be required at the intersection of Grandview and Skyline.
The reconstruction and widening of Grandview Drive from Skyline Drive to Saturn Avenue began in August of 2016. This federally-funded project provides roadway improvements including the reconstruction of the roadway, widening of Grandview Drive to five lanes, a 12ft wide shared use pathway on the south side of the roadway, and a sidewalk on the north side of the roadway between Skyline Drive and Saturn Avenue.
During all construction activities, watch for equipment and workers, follow all traffic signs and flaggers, and reduce speeds to posted limits.
