The Idaho Falls Fire Department invites the community to the 2nd annual Fire Prevention Community Block Party on Thursday, September 28 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
This FREE, family-oriented event will be held at the new Downtown Fire Station 1, located at 343 “E” Street.
There will be face painting and special guest appearances from Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey Bear. Firefighters will provide bucket rides in the ladder truck, as well as games and activities for kids.
The American Red Cross will offer safety tips on home preparedness, safety plans and smoke detector installation.
Bring the entire family down for an evening full of entertainment this Thursday! FREE hot dogs, chips and punch will also be provided.
The event is sponsored by the Idaho Falls Fire Department, Bonneville County Fire District #1, Ammon Fire Department, Idaho National Laboratory, U.S. Forest Service, American Red Cross & Bureau of Land Management.
