[ARCHIVED] Two Arrested for Aggravated Battery

Idaho Falls Police arrested 18-year-old Codee M. Clapp and 18-year-old Ryker D. Ritchie for aggravated battery after an altercation early Friday morning.

Clapp and Ritchie, both of Idaho Falls, were booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, officers responded to the 2100 block of St. Clair Road for a report of a disturbance around 3:25 a.m. Officers contacted an 18-year-old man who told police he’d been struck by Clapp and Ritchie with baseball bats. Clapp also shot a pellet gun at the victim.

The altercation occurred after Clapp and Ritchie showed up at the victim’s residence to fight in in response to messages exchanged between the three via Facebook.
