Idaho Falls, ID:  On February 27, 2018 at 2:47 p.m., the Idaho Falls Fire Department was dispatched to the 600 block of Vassar Way for a report of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire inside the kitchen of a main floor apartment within a five-apartment complex.  Firefighters were able to keep the fire contained to the kitchen and quickly extinguish it. There was smoke damage throughout the building.

There were three adults inside the apartment complex when the cooking fire started. Two individuals exited the building immediately, one of which called 911.  Firefighters assisted the remaining adult male out of the building.

There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters and no transports to the hospital.
