HK Contractors will be working at the intersection of N Water Avenue and Chestnut Street today, August 8 for the S Boulevard Storm Drain Improvements project.

Construction activities include the installation of water, storm, and sewer lines and the replacement of asphalt and concrete.

One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction. Pedestrians will have minor detours.

During construction, all local residences will be accessible to pedestrian traffic only. Parking is prohibited on N Water Ave between S Boulevard and Birch St, and on Chestnut St between S Boulevard and N Water Ave.

Please watch for equipment and personnel, follow all traffic signs and flaggers, and reduce speeds to posted limits.
