Idaho Falls, ID – Beginning March 1, 2017, Knife River will commence construction work on 17th Street at the St. Clair Road intersection. In an effort to reduce the impact to traffic, the intersection will remain open for the duration of the project with possible night closures.
The project includes construction of approximately 900 feet of pipeline to replace the canal along the east side of St. Clair Road. Work will begin just south of the Big Lots store. Crews will also replace the existing pipe under 17th Street and end just north of Great Harvest Bread Company.
The work will accommodate a future roadway-widening project to add turn lanes on St. Clair Road at its intersection with 17th Street.
Construction hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The duration of the project is approximately one month.
For questions or concerns, contact Knife River at (208) 941-8278 or the Public Works Department at (208) 612-8250.
