[ARCHIVED] Union Pacific Railroad to Temporarily Close Crossing for Repairs

Railroad Crossing

Idaho Falls, ID – On Monday, September 24th,  Union Pacific Railroad will temporarily close the railroad crossing at Yellowstone Avenue/U.S. Hwy 26 and Elm Street for repairs.

Motorists and pedestrians will be detoured to the crossing to the north at Yellowstone Avenue and “D” Street and to the south at Yellowstone Avenue and Maple Street.

The repairs to the asphalt, concrete and the crossing should be complete by Friday, September 28.

Please reduce speeds, obey posted traffic control signage and watch for construction crews in the vicinity.
