The Idaho Falls Police Department arrested two people for felony driving under the influence in two separate incidents this weekend.
According to reports, 55-year-old Gary L. Triplett of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for felony DUI and driving without privileges Friday evening.
Officers arrested Triplett after receiving a call of an intoxicated driver in the 1700 block of West Broadway around 8 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop and found Triplett to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
He has at least two prior DUI convictions.
Early Sunday morning, officers arrested 52-year-old Carlos Gonzalez Lemus for felony DUI following a traffic stop at Denver Street and North Utah Avenue. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Gonzalez Lemus of Idaho Falls was also arrested and booked into the Bonneville County Jail for open container.
He has at least two prior DUI convictions.
