Looking for a fun and wild place to send your kids during the holiday break? The Idaho Falls Zoo will host its 18th annual Winter Break Classes for children ages 5-13 on December 27, 28 ,31 and January 1, 2, and 3.
Kids will learn all about the science of snow, find out which animals like cold weather and much more!
“The winter classes are a great opportunity for kids to see what happens at the zoo when the snow falls,” says Ian Wilson, interpretive programs coordinator.
Also, be sure to check out the fun monthly Zoo Tots programs for ages 2-4 (with an accompanying adult). Tots will explore a variety of educational topics each month through reading, crafts, songs and fun.
Registration is now open for the Winter Break Classes and monthly Zoo Tots programs, but space is limited so register soon!
Visit the zoo’s winter class website or call (208) 612-8254 for additional information and registration.
