Are pets welcome in the zoo?

Only ADA-trained dogs are allowed in the zoo and must be current on vaccines to access exhibits in the exotic cat loop- i.e. lions, tigers, snow leopards and servals. These animals are susceptible to certain dog diseases that can be prevented only by vaccination. Also ADA-trained dogs will not be allowed near certain ambassador animals while they are out of their exhibits and walking about the zoo- i.e. penguins, llamas and alpaca.
