Glade has been a member of the Idaho Falls Fire Department since 1994. Prior to employment with the IFFD, Glade worked three years fighting fires for the Bureau of Land Management. His first duties as a member of the IFFD included tailboard firefighting and EMS work on the ambulances.

In 2002, he was promoted to Driver/Operator where he served for the next fourteen years. In February of 2016, he was selected and appointed to the Fire Prevention Division where he is currently serving as Inspector I. Since coming to Fire Prevention, he has obtained certifications as a Fire Investigation Technician (FIT), State of Idaho Fire Code Official, and ICC Fire Inspector I.
