With more than twenty years of public sector experience, Ms. Alexander is the Director of Municipal Services Department consisting of 72 employees with an annual operating budget of $4.6M and total annual City budget of $209M. Ms. Alexander oversees the administrative support services for the City including finance and treasury, purchasing, information technology, building and fleet maintenance and City Clerk.
Prior to joining the City of Idaho Falls, Ms. Alexander worked for the City of Mesa for fifteen years serving in various professional positions focusing on budget, financial analysis and capital improvement program planning. Ms. Alexander holds a Master’s degree in Business, Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and is certified public manager. Ms. Alexander holds professional memberships in the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), International City/County Management Association (ICMA). Ms. Alexander is also a member of the Civitan Club of Idaho Falls.
